Here is why I am shunning 5G for 3G.... at least for now Today, the first 5G network has been switched on in a few cities across the UK and yet not only do I not plan to embrace it anytime soon, I've also taken the bewildering decision to move on to 3G. A few days ago, I was at an event in central London for the launch of a major smartphone. Ironically, there was no network connectivity, voice or data, and I was not the only one impacted by this. Several people I spoke to at the event were also affected, despite being on different core networks. I am not using an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) and neither were they. The difference is that I was probably the only one on 3G. Ghostbusters: The Video Game remaster has finally been confirmed with a spooky trailer The Ghostbusters are officially back! Well, kind of. It's been rumored for some time that 2009's Ghostbusters: The Video Game would be getting a high resolution remaster but nothing was certain.  However, now the news has officially been confirmed with a spooky new reveal trailer. ExpressVPN deploys Krack-proof firmware for some Linksys routers Popular VPN provider, ExpressVPN , has released a new router software for seven device brands. A new firmware means that vulnerabilities found in the original manufacturer firmware - including the Bad Packets one from earlier in May 2019 - should, in theory, be eliminated. We have confirmed this with a spokesperson at ExpressVPN for Linksys routers affected by the infamous Krack vulnerability. Implementing the protection however comes with a caveat; it might reduce Wi-Fi stability. ExpressVPN advises users that they can toggle it off if they have patched all devices connected to the router.
