But the company could now have a bit more competition, as the Nokia T10 has just been announced, sporting a temptingly low price. This Android tablet has an 8-inch 800 x 1280 screen, a modest Unisoc T606 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone port, face unlock, an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing one. It also runs Android 12 and comes with the promise of two operating system updates (taking it up to Android 14), and three years of monthly security updates, which the brand claims is twice as many as the competition. M2 MacBook Air pre-orders are already slipping past 3 weeks Apple’s M2 MacBook Air is now up for pre-order, and we’d previously predicted a rush to buy the new laptop – and that has seemingly proved to be the case. Indeed, with pre-orders having only been open for a couple of hours, we’re seeing some of the redesigned MacBook Air models already having their ship dates pushed back to 2-3 weeks, or even further in some cases. Apple announced the M2 MacBook Air as shipping starting on July 15 , but currently in the US, if you want the entry-level and higher-end (with 10-core GPU) laptops in the midnight color, then you’ll be waiting for 1-2 weeks for it to ship (maybe until July 29). The same is true for the entry-level MacBook Air in starlight or silver. If you want the higher-end silver Air, however, you’re looking at a 2-3 week wait. M2 MacBook Pro teardown confirms what we suspected about the laptop all along Apple’s MacBook Pro with M2 chip is essentially the same laptop as its predecessor, the MacBook Pro 13-inch M1, a teardown of the new notebook has shown – not that this is much of a surprise. Of course, the similarities are obvious, and certainly from the outside, it looked like with the external design unchanged between the two generations of laptops, the only real difference was upgrading the M1 SoC to an M2 , and giving the option to select more system RAM (24GB if needed). But now courtesy of an iFixit teardown, we know that from the inside, the M2 MacBook Pro is indeed pretty much identical to the M1 version, with the same chassis, display, Touch Bar, and internal layout, save for a few tweaks.
